Revolut told the FT, per the report: “We disagree with the PSR’s assessment and believe it has acted beyond its statutory powers in imposing these caps. We have therefore requested the court to review, and ultimately overturn the PSR’s decision.”

Visa said in the report: “We respect the PSR’s role as an economic regulator. As a result of its findings, the PSR has announced plans to soon begin consulting on “potential remedies” to address the issues it has found.

Trump signs order to establish strategic bitcoin reserve: U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to establish a strategic reserve of cryptocurrencies by using tokens already owned by the government, disappointing some in the market who had hoped for a firm plan to buy new tokens.

The announcement, made on Thursday ahead of a meeting with crypto executives at the White House later on Friday, sent the price of bitcoin down by around 5% to $85,000. In early European trading on Friday, bitcoin has recovered to trade at $89,200.

OpenAI reportedly plans to charge up to $20,000 a month for specialized AI ‘agents’: OpenAI is reportedly doubling down on the launch of several ‘AI agent’ products as a key driver of revenue growth.

The AI startup behind ChatGPT is looking to charge up to $20,000 a month for specialised AI ‘agents’ that are designed to execute specific tasks related to software engineering and research, according to a report by The Information.

As per the report, OpenAI plans to launch a “high-income knowledge worker” agent, which will cost $2,000 a month to access. An upcoming software developer agent is said to cost $10,000 a month.
